1) I found diary entries by people who were interested in becoming leaders. I found one based on a diary written by a young woman who enters a war in Spain and acts as a leader of many people in a local area to rebel against a Christian army.
2) Another diary entry I found was written by an unidentified man who noted that after his brother's passing from a terminating disease, he overcame obstacles and built a resource center to help people overcome challenging deaths.

I think I am going to package my project on Eleanor Roosevelt by putting all of it into a box. I want to make it look like the box was housed in the famous Smithsonian Institution and all of the seven genres will be included in the box. All of the genres will go in separate folders and nothing will really look too "fancy" because the boxes themselves were not fancy. I also want to put the works cited, rough drafts, and characteristics and criteria into separate folders of the project.

I want to present my project to the class. However, I'm not going to present all of my genres. I am going to use a power point to present a brief biography of Eleanor Roosevelt and then at the end present some "fun facts". Also, I want to use not cards to go more into detail about what's on the project. I presenting two genres. The first is the diary entry genre which will be presented over a projector. Then, I'm presenting my radio broadcast genre as the second one.
Reflection
From this course, I learned a lot about my project. I always had a great interest about the life of Eleanor Roosevelt and the person she was, but I never fully understood her until I researched information about her. I understood her significance to how she influenced other people, but I didn't know her back story. I wasn't aware that her childhood had been so rough from the beginning and how she had to overcome these obstacles by attending a finishing school in England. I was not aware of her troubles in her marriage with acclaimed President Franklin D. Roosevelt and how it almost ended. All of these ideas were brought into the project to help bring my knowledge of her to everyday people who wanted to take interest in her life and career. By doing the project, I was not aware of how many genres could be used for her. Because I was doing my ROMP on a person instead of a topic, I felt limited to certain genres, until I expanded my horizons a little bit more and realized that I could put more into it than meets the eye. I learned some basic elements on how to put this into the classroom when I become a teacher. Giving students diverse activities can help them process the information better, which is similar to doing a variety of different genres for the project. Furthermore, it helped me understand how I can improve as a writer and it taught me the fundamentals on how to be more open-minded the next time I write a paper.

Then, I'm presenting my radio broadcast genre as the second one.Reflection
From this course, I learned a lot about my project. I always had a great interest about the life of Eleanor Roosevelt and the person she was, but I never fully understood her until I researched information about her. I understood her significance to how she influenced other people, but I didn't know her back story. I wasn't aware that her childhood had been so rough from the beginning and how she had to overcome these obstacles by attending a finishing school in England. I was not aware of her troubles in her marriage with acclaimed President Franklin D. Roosevelt and how it almost ended. All of these ideas were brought into the project to help bring my knowledge of her to everyday people who wanted to take interest in her life and career. By doing the project, I was not aware of how many genres could be used for her. Because I was doing my ROMP on a person instead of a topic, I felt limited to certain genres, until I expanded my horizons a little bit more and realized that I could put more into it than meets the eye. I learned some basic elements on how to put this into the classroom when I become a teacher. Giving students diverse activities can help them process the information better, which is similar to doing a variety of different genres for the project. Furthermore, it helped me understand how I can improve as a writer and it taught me the fundamentals on how to be more open-minded the next time I write a paper.
