The topic in which I have settled on is the singer/guitarist of the 90s grunge band, Kurt Cobain. My audience is going to be towards those who are interested in music and are interested in learning more about him. My purpose is to enlighten those on who Kurt Cobain really was, not just what the media made him to look like. The sources in which I'll draw on are internet sources, magazines, interviews, videos, and anything else I can find that may possibly concern Kurt Cobain. As for the genres, I do not know exactly at this moment which genres I will choose from, I'll know for a more definite once I get more indepth into my research.

High Ropes course at Bloomsburg.

In reaction to my intelligence survey, I would strongly agree that i am musical because music is like my life and I greatly enjoy it. It has helped me cope with alot and I love knowing that it is really me.
Hello, my name is Rob Cole. I graduated from West Scranton High School and am now enrolled at Bloomsburg University majoring in Secondary Education/History.
I enjoy listening to music as well while I study, it seems to help me concentrate more. I love participating in classroom events. I hate when a teacher does not make the class fun and just sits in the front of the room and talk for the full time they are given. That would most likely be my biggest class pet peeve in class. I play guitar and I enjoy writing and listening to music in my free time.
In the future, with my students, I plan to be the teacher who uses technology to its fullest extent and make history into something fun and a class students will want to attend.

I expect to use Magazines, TV Footage, Interviews and Internet Sites to help me research this topic.
Once you have completed worksheets for TWO topics, please answer these two questions; be prepared to discuss your answers in class:
1. Of your two topic choices, which one do you think you will find the most information about? Please explain.
I believe I will find out more information about the September 11th attacks and the War on Terror over Kurt Cobain. September 11th had a worldly impact and is still talked about to this day. While Kurt Cobain still is as well, he is not as big of a topic as the War on Terror and the attacks.
2. Of your two topic choices, which one do you really like the best? Please explain.
I like Kurt Cobain because he was an influence to me musically. I know a good handful of Nirvana’s songs and plan to continue to learn how to play others as well.
