\nHow did genre, audience, and purpose figure in those processes?
\n
\nDuring the healthy meal presentations my group\u2019s purpose was to inform the class what healthy means and persuade the entire class that our meal was the best option for three people fewer than five dollars. Our audience consisted of our classmates and Professor Sherry. I would say the genre of our project was informative. We informed the class of the nutritional value of multi-grain cheerios and how necessary breakfast truly is!","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]},{"id":"26713499","dateCreated":"1283813728","smartDate":"Sep 6, 2010","userCreated":{"username":"tmiller1010","url":"https:\/\/www.wikispaces.com\/user\/view\/tmiller1010","imageUrl":"https:\/\/ssl.wikicdn.com\/i\/user_none_lg.jpg"},"monitored":false,"locked":false,"links":{"self":"https:\/\/sherrycomp10a.wikispaces.com\/share\/view\/26713499"},"dateDigested":1532251790,"startDate":null,"sharedType":"discussion","title":"Teaching my mother facebook","description":"The learning style that worked best for my mother to learn how to use facebook was probably the interpersonal and linguistic intelligences. My mother is a very organized person and can relate to tell me what she didn\u2019t or did understand. My mother and I both have linguistic intelligences, so I would say the steps about facebook directly to her. Facebook appealed to these two intelligences for my mother and I.
\nMy mother\u2019s strengths were her ability to communicate with me and understand mostly the point I was trying to get across (linguistic and interpersonal). The struggles of trying to teach my mother about facebook were her inability to remember everything I had told her. I had to repeat the steps multiple times, but she eventually understood how to do it. I had to remember to stay patient with my mother as she was figuring out the world of facebook. My mother learned the lesson because she has been posting comments, logging on, and uploading photographs to facebook. The evidence of the lesson learned was when I made my mother log on, post comments, and upload photographs to facebook and repeat the steps to me. Therefore, linguistic and interpersonal multiple intelligences were evident.","replyPages":[{"page":0,"digests":[],"more":0}]}],"more":false},"comments":[]},"http":{"code":200,"status":"OK"},"redirectUrl":null,"javascript":null,"notices":{"warning":[],"error":[],"info":[],"success":[]}}
